A New Beginning!

Hi All!

Well, I'm finally home...

You have NO idea how good this feels! I can start reviewing again on a daily basis and I can hold contests and see all of my friends again.

But, I can't lie, there have been many changes made in my life. Permanent changes that have affected me greatly. I'm not ready to talk about all of them yet, but I will...in time. You've all been wonderful and to the authors and publishers "THANK YOU"! Can you hear me yelling?? See me waving *Waving Madly*!! Cancer is a horrible thing. It doesn't pick and choose. It's equally terrible to everyone! It doesn't care what you do, how old you are, what color you are, if you have a family or if you don't...

My choice...to fight back. And that I did. Did I win? To me, somewhat...and I know you all don't understand what I mean yet, but you will. I'm just not ready to talk about it yet and when I am, you'll be the first to know. A few closer friends online do know. I chose to tell them through private emails that they've sent to me. But enough about *C*...and more about BLOGGING, BLOGGERS and BOOKS!! YAY!!

I've received some really great books to review recently and I will get those posted! And today, I received a friend request on Face Book from my favorite Thriller writer Rick R. Reed! He now has ten (10) published Novels and I couldn't be happier for him! Continued success to you Rick! I was extremely surprised and honored that he was looking for me and wondering how I was doing. It made me *blush* a little... Anyway, he has a great post on the blog entitled "In Cold Blog" about his real life stalker experience and it's quite scary...you should check it out!

Another great thing...I've been book blogging over a year! It seems like yesterday! I can't believe it .... SO, in honor of that, I'm thinking up a great GIVE-A-WAY while we speak (or AS I TYPE!). Going through the blogs, I see just how much I've missed and some of it was quite a shock...

Dewey...I don't know what to say. I couldn't believe what I was reading and my prayers and heart go out to her and her family! I was sad I missed the read-a-thon. I missed so much. Those things made me sad and mad. It made me think of my own family and friends...my friends on line and what cancer "took away" from ME! I have been reading all of your blogs, just not posting on many! I've been lurking for a bit...Nymeth? Congrats on your "Dangerous Alphabet Book"... how cool is that?? Trish, I missed you greatly! And so many of you I tried to contact personally in a letter. J.Kaye? Your BLOG looks AMAZING! I promise to catch up on everyone and what they are doing...I also hope to have many of you stopping by here to catch up with me as well! So stop by and pass my blog on!

There are other things to "ME" besides reading and I think that I might let you all in on those things in between reviews as well...just in case...you never know. I don't want you to think ALL I do is READ. I love FASHION, PINK, CHOCOLATE and SATC...SHOES....SHOES AND SHOES! This year I think I'm going to let it all out. I have to. And not for you...for ME! A Weak Week and CONTESTS GALORE!!

Well, they've decided that I'm still too weak for my next surgery that they had planned and I've been getting SO many emails and calls from all of you that I wanted to let you know that I am fine, just weak and fighting, because that's what I've got!

There are some of you that I have things for and WENDY, I didn't forget that you won, way back when ... it will be coming I PROMISE and I will email you as soon as I can, or email me so that I have your email. J.Kaye, I have a couple things for you and I believe I have your address and IF NOT, I will bother you for it again. Trish and Sandy Ellen Patsy, I think you've been MY BIGGEST FAN through all of this! LADIES and GENTLEMEN, Sandy Patsy is the Author of The Power of Pussy so, if you haven't read this yet, You can look back to my interview or email Sandy at SandyEllenPatsy@aol.com and she will answer any questions you have if you've read the book or about the book. Her Interview should be up this weekend for questions and answers! Sandy Patsy is now 63 and wrote a HOT book all about her torrid love affaid with Peter...it's got it's ups and downs and things and Positions I can hope I can get in at that age! *SEE ANOTHER OUTLOUD THOUGHT*...they get me into trouble usually, but Sandy Patsy is on SWEET and GENEROUS lady. She did something AMAZING FOR ME, which she deserves to be thanked for publically and I was actually threatened by another author that was running a contest and when I won and she didn't give me the prize, I was told I couldn't use our conversations or tell the whole blog-o-sphere what happened. It was a threat. SANDY PATSY came to help and did so much for me and still does when I'm down. AS DO SO SO SO SO SO many of you!

It's also been kind of a busy week. I've gotten in some great books for review, I will share those with you as soon as I feel a little bit better, later on today and for some reason, I can only get on at certain times. The internet is horrible here so I will be on and off when I can!

Sad News Regarding Amy's Health

Dear Publishers, Authors, and Friends:

On this day, I regret that I must share some very sad news with you. Amy, Park-Avenue Princess of Royal Reviews, has been admitted into the hospital. She isn't able to answer any emails or telephone calls personally at this time, so she asked that I, Vanessa, her friend of over twenty years to deliver this news and make you aware of what is going on at the present time.

I'm not sure I'll be able to deliver it with the style and cheer that Amy could, but I certainly will try!

I want each and every one of you to know that if you have any review requests, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to either email here or to one of her private email addresses IAmHiMaintenance@aol.com or RoyalReviews@aol.com . Your emails will be answered and review requests taken. Kim and I are going to do the best we can to keep this running as smoothly as possible while she is gone. We will be checking RoyalReviews@aol.com daily, the other address seems to have more personal emails to her, so if they can wait, we'd rather have her read them and get back to you herself. Also, if you don't want to post here in the comments, please send her an email, I'm sure she'd love to know that you are thinking of her and that you are keeping her in your prayers. She is scared and really could use some cheering up.

Emails that request reviews, have personal messages or concerns that need to be addressed by her, will certainly be passed along. I plan to see her at least four times a week, and Kim (our other very good friend) will be visiting as well. Calls are made to her room daily and someone in her family is there all the time.

I do ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers and as soon as she can answer you herself, I know that she will. Amy is dedicated to each and every one of you and loves what she does. I know that she wishes you all success and will do anything to help.

The doctor's do not think that this will be a short stay. As some of you may know, Amy has been battling cancer for the past 14 years total. The type of cancer she has is rare and even rarer in women. She has malignant tumors and they're called Sarcomas. Ewing Sarcomas would be the name of the correct diagnoses.

It saddens all of us close to her that she is spending more time back in the hospital, including her Mother's Day.

We had to consult with her quite a bit before writing this letter to all of you - sharing this very personal information. Out of all the changes that were made, one thing remained constant and that was she wanted to share this information about her and her condition with all of you.

There are so many reviews that are written and waiting to be posted. (I would say more than fifteen to twenty). I apologize for being so far behind, but I know how meticulous she is about how she sets up her reviews. I need to find everything on her computer to get them posted. So, if you could be a little patient with me, I would be grateful. Once I'm in the swing of things, the give-a-ways will continue and I will update as much as possible (both with her reviews and her health).

Do not feel that you shouldn't send a request at this time. We're here to help.Thank you in advance for your kind courtesy and cooperation and I look forward to working with you.
