About the Book:

For Zaria Tourmaline, the three years without her mother and brother have been lonely ones, living with a cold and distant guardian while she completes her education. Just as she is ready to join the world of adult fairies and genies, she finds a spellbook written entirely in her mother’s hand. But this treasured object is not safe from a new enemy, a fairy with more power than Zaria ever dreamed existed. Only among the humans–who must never know fairies and genies exist–can Zaria hide the spellbook; but hidden magic, it turns out, can expose a fairy in ways she never thought possible.

Perfect Timing, a Dutchess Review

Hi everyone, Dutchess here. I am doing another review for you. Today's book is Perfect Timing by Jill Mansell. Check it out,

Perfect Timing
By: Jill Mansell
Publisher: Sourcebooks Landmark
Available: November 1st 2009 (first published 1997)
Pages: 448 pages
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Rating:

About the book:

When you meet the man of your dreams on girls night out, it's hardly…Perfect Timing

In this fresh and funny contemporary romance by bestselling author Jill Mansell, Poppy Dunbar's whole life gets turned upside down after a chance encounter with a handsome stranger...

Never a troublemaker, Poppy had always been content with the way things were supposed to be done—which included marrying predictable Rob McBride. But that was before she met Tom Kennedy the night before her wedding. Could she really be falling in love with a stranger?

Unable to forget Tom, or go through with the wedding, Poppy runs off to London. Her new life and colorful friends are anything but predictable. Misunderstandings, family secrets, and jealous quarrels ensue, but can Poppy stop running long enough to figure out what—or, rather, who—is in her heart?

My Thoughts:

I was so excited to have the opportunity to read this book. Perfect Timing is quintessential chick lit, which I love. Poppy thinks her life is just where it aught to be until she meets the man of her dreams the night before her wedding! Can you imagine? You are in love, about to marry that man and some dude changes everything. You realize this cannot be what life is all about. Although some might try to categorize this book as fluff, it is anything but. It is fun, spunky and humorous but it also makes you think. Could you drop everything in your life to go in search of a more satisfying and fulfilled life? I know you might want to answer yes right away but think about it. Leave the significant other, leave the family, leave the security of your home and find yourself? I am not sure I would have the bravery. If you enjoy books about self discovery and fulfillment, set in modern day London, this is the Perfect Timing to read this book.

XOXO,
and

Update on Your Choice of E-Reader Contest!

Hi Everyone! I have some updates to share with you!

If you are just now beginning to read my blog or missed the post for 'The Giveaway to Sell You SOUL For...', I HIGHLY recommend that you check it out! (You can do that HERE)! Now, while they're off checking the post, I'm going to fill you in on a few things that have been brought to my attention! First of all, this contest is for The Winner's Choice of an E-Reader! And the winner does NOT have to be located in the US or Canada only. It's open World Wide!  So, Please spread the word to our international friends!

Next, I was contacted by a reader that could not purchase a plain hardcover from Amazon because they are out. If this is the problem, you can email me directly, contact me through the button at the top, or email author Matthew Carter at LiquidSoulBook@gmail.com. You will be able to order regular copies through Mr. Carter at $13.00 for a Trade Size and $25.00 for a Hardcover.

The main problem that he's running into is that this book is a Print On Demand book, which some publishers do. It saves on waste and it's great for the environment! No excess pages to be thrown away if the book isn't sold! Matthew has assured me that he can get them quicker than Amazon can, plus he will have your receipt, because you can pay through PayPal.

If there are any further questions regarding this Giveaway, please feel free to post them here, and I will get back to you ASAP!  Also, don't forget to post the button on your blog, it's an easy way to gain some extra points!

Four Little Words Written in Lipstick...

mean Emily must say goodbye to everything she knows. Emily Carson has always been a good girl. So when she throws a party the night her parents leave for vacation, she's sure she'll get busted. What Emily doesn't know is that her parents will never return. That their plane will go down. And the only thing left amidst the wreckage will be a tray table with the words: Emily please forgive me scrawled in lipstick—her mother's last words.

Now it's fall in New York City and Emily's trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. Her public tragedy captures the attention of more than just the media—and soon two very different boys at her new school are pursuing her: the cute, popular Owen and the quirky chemistry partner slash pastry-baker-by-night, Anthony. But even with such delicious distractions, Emily can't let go of her mother's mysterious apology. Does she have the courage to face the truth?

With help of a whole new kind of family—one that includes a make-up artist to the stars, a teen model, and a wacky hairdresser—Emily must choose between the boy who makes her forget it all, and the one who encourages her to remember, and ultimately, heal.

Sometimes goodbye is just the beginning.

Welcome Author Jennifer Jabaley!

Today I have the great pleasure of hosting author Jennifer Jabaley! She's going to Guest Blog here regarding her newest book "LIPSTICK APOLOGY" and in the next post, check to see how one lucky readers will win a brand new copy of their own!

Let's Welcome Author Jennifer Jabaley!

*Thunderous Applause*

I love this time of year - the crisp mornings and evenings, the vibrant colors painting the leaves and stacks of pumpkins decorating front porches. Looking at the painted pumpkins arranged on my kitchen table reminds me of one of my favorite scenes in LIPSTICK APOLOGY - the Halloween party where the stack of illuminated jack-o-lanterns explodes.

It's funny how many times readers have asked me if that really happened to me. The answer is no, this was a creation of my imagination. I loved the idea of a pyramid of pumpkins - it's so visual and festive - and the idea of candle light sparkling from a pumpkin creates a unique romantic ambiance for a roof top party. But of course when I'm creating scenes in my mind and I want to create drama, I always ask myself what's the worst thing that could happen? And somehow I envisioned this beautiful arrangement of pumpkins exploding everywhere, sticky orange pulp flying and flames of fire erupting. What a way to interrupt a kiss, right?

I think a lot of people assume that authors write scenes from their life, and maybe some do, but maybe my life is just a little dull :) Thank goodness I have an over active imagination.

Thanks for letting me ramble on your blog!

Jennifer Jabaley

You're MORE Than Welcome, Jennifer!

Wind & Weather Bear Hug Body Pillow (Plus a Holiday Discount)!

This is not only THE MOST ADORABLE body pillow that I've ever seen, it's also THE SOFTEST! When I was given the chance to review this Bear Hug Body Pillow by Wind & Weather, I simply couldn't resist!

This bear makes the perfect companion while reading and at night, he not only makes sleeping on my side comfortable but warm and cozy too!  If you're like me, and like to read on your stomach with a pillow under the front of your torso, you'll absolutely fall in love with this bear! Lay him across the bed or floor, grab your favorite book and blanket ... absolute *PERFECTION*.   Not only that, but since my last surgery, I have had problems while laying on my side, not any more.  This body pillow has a sacks of beans sewn into the midsection and paws which add both weight and girth.  The pillow stays put and you just sink right in to a comfy warm relaxing sleep.  The possibilities are endless and believe me when I say, he holds his shape and stays puffy while you rest.  He doesn't flatten out  like other stuffed animals and/or pillows because it's not 'stuffing' throughout.  The sacks of beans really do make the difference!

The only negative I can think of is when I first got him, he was shedding. To fix this very minor problem, I suggest giving him a good brushing before use! His soft fur is gorgeous to the touch, but like any *faux type of fur, it sheds in the beginning in small amounts.  This tiny amount of fur will stick to clothing and sheets. Another really easy solution to this would be to use a lint roller on him. Easy! Right?

The Wind & Weather Bear Hug Body Pillow is made of super-soft, super-dense 'fur fibers', glass eyes and suede paws.  His perky little nose and leather-like claws give him realistic charm and a face you can't help but fall in love with!  This pillow is on the larger side (about the actual size of a real bear cub) and will be sure to bring  a smile to children of  'any age' this holiday season!

I LOVE my Bear Hug Body Pillow and I can tell you honestly that this would make the ultimate holiday gift for that someone special (or yourself)! The Bear Hug comes in Brown, Black with Brown Markings, Polar and Panda!  I chose the brown and is he ever cute!  You're sure to find one that will make your heart melt.  Wind & Weather carries a large variety of gifts and holiday essentials. Go take a look! I bet you'll be impressed!

Wind & Weather would like to wish You and Yours a Very Happy Holiday Season and to start it off right, you can own one of these Adorable Wind & Weather Bear Hug Body Pillows (AC3941) with 10% off! But only here at Park-Avenue Princess!  To take advantage of the savings, all you need to do is type in the secret code at check out! What's the secret code you ask?

PRINCESS

You have until November 25th!  You can save on either the Brown, Black, Polar or Panda!

KISSES & TOODLES!!

Review Policy

If you would like me to review your book, I look forward to working with you! All you have to do is email me at IAmHiMaintenance@aol.com and we can take it from there! I have a "request letter" that explains it all!

But first, if you'd like to know a little bit more about me, I will gladly fill you in. Reviewing is *very* personal to me and I started a little over ten years ago. My reviewing began as a way of saying "Thank you" to the authors that have helped me through a very long journey. It started almost fifteen years ago and this is my fifth reoccurrence of cancer in that time. So, Authors, Publishers, Publicists, Books, and My Site have all become so much more than just reading and reviews to me. Books have become my *comfort reading*, my escape and my reviews have become my only voice to the community, my "Thank You" to the Authors that have helped me in SO many ways. I am always honored to get a book that's signed, it goes on the shelf and it's kept here with me. It's part of my past that shows that I've "Thanked" and Author in some way. I always ask that they are signed to me (unless they are for a contest, which I will tell you more about in a bit) if they are coming from the author. If they are coming from the publisher/publicist, I understand that can't always be the case.

Other than http://www.parkaveprincess.com/, I also try to put reviews up on Amazon, where I belong to the Vine Voice Program, B&N, Goodreads.com (if the author asks) and Shelfari as well (if the author requests). Your review will be honest and fair and my thoughts alone. I can't guarantee you a If I read a book in it's entirety, your book will be reviewed. I still go by what my English teacher taught me in High School, that you owe it to an Author to give them 50 pages...I usually give 75. If I can't get into it by then, I usually will write the Author or Publisher.

Wether or not a review is done, your book will be showcased on the site with the cover image, the blurb on what your book is about (usually take from Amazon, Goodreads.com, the Author's Site, or the Publisher's Site), when it will be out, and a link to where they can buy it. If it IS reviewed, It will be given a Tiara Rating from 1-5 Tiaras and you can see what those mean on the side of my site. 5 Tiaras being the best.

I also do Author Interviews, Author Guest Posts, Blog Tours, Author Events, Contests and Giveaways as well. If you'd like one or more of these items done, just ask when you contact me about the review!

How long will it take me to do your review? If I receive an ARC, I would like to get the review done within the month that the book comes out and publish my review no later than the week to the day that the book is out. If not on the day then very shortly after (within the next couple of weeks) If you would like this to happen, please send me the ARC at least a month in advance. (If there is a problem that arises that I can't control, I will email you and let you know what that is). If the book is already published, it will take me longer, and unless you request that it be rushed and discuss it with me first, please note that the book will be placed in the order that it was received.

My stats have grown tremendously since the site has been redone and I will be happy to share those with you when you contact me!

My favorite types of books are Children's, Middle Grade and Young Adult. They're what I mostly review. In the Adult Genre, nothing beats a good thriller! Adult fiction will work too, sometimes it needs a YA Crossover and sometimes not (check out my site) and anything from one of my favorite authors. If you're not sure, just email me, I'm really easy to work with and I'll be sure to let you know, either way. I am always open to something new. Children's, MC and YA are favorites for a special reason and that I can explain once you email me. That doesn't mean I won't consider anything else. I very rarely read non-fiction, sci-fi, historical fiction.

Right now I am not taking e-books or any documents that I have to read on my computer for review. I'm sorry and this may change in the near future when I am back home and out of the hospital for sure. Please Note that all books that have been reviewed on this site have been given to me by either a Publishing Company, PR Company, Publicist or Author unless otherwise stated in order for me to form my HONEST opinion. I was in NO WAY monetarily compensated.

I ask that if you are sending me a book that is the part of a series and is NOT the first book, please send me each of the books that come before it. Especially if this is a series that I have never read before. I like to know what I'm getting into and the background of the story. I have no problem reviewing your newest book first and then reviewing all the other books that needed to be sent. Or, if you prefer I do them in order, that's OK as well. I just feel that it's tough to start a story in the middle or at the end. I don't want to give a book that deserves 5 Tiaras only 3 just because I was told that it was a "stand alone book" and I didn't understand the past.

Well, I believe I've covered everything so far, if not, I'll be back to make changes! If you've gotten this far, thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you very soon!

It's been a pleasure "meeting" you and I look forward to working with you! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have at all. I'll get back to you as quickly as possible! I'm just a girlie girl who has always loved books along with her Princess heels!

Winner Worries!

Before I announce today's winner's, I feel that it's necessary for me to point out a few Giveaway Rules that are not being followed and believe it or not, it's caused more than five people to lose their prizes today. One was the Lizzy Bleu $50.00 Giveaway and I was forced to pick a new name! I really dislike doing this. First of all, it's hard enough to pick a winner without having to take it away.  I know what you're  thinking ... "Princess St." MUST be a ONE WAY! Not so! I have been accepting entries without saying a word for a long time now and I really don't think that I ask too much.  I also know you have questions and I'm going to answer them!  If what I write up in this post doesn't answer your question, or it is not clear, please feel free to comment below and I'll answer you ASAP!

Why did these individuals lose their prize? Good question and I do have the answers for you.  It all came about with the "Giveaway to Sell You Soul For.." which is being sponsored by the Very Generous Matthew Carter, author of "Liquid Soul"!  I started actually checking *If people were doing what they said they were doing in the entries and to my shock, some are not! Please only put what you are actually doing, otherwise, it will result in a prize forfeit.  Matthew actually brougt this to my attention while keeping track of points for the reader.  See, I was just assuming that everyone was being honest.  Not the case.  I DO understand that mistakes happen and that some of you (Blogger Followers) thought that you were following Publically and through Google Friend Connect.  This is the ONLY step that I require to win prizes here, and it's not that hard to click the button.

Why do I need you to follow? Here's something you may not know. Companies and even some small publishers will not work with you unless you have a certain number of followers or daily visits.  So, if you'd like me to keep having these giveaways (especially the big ones) , and I have a few biggies coming up for the Christmas season, then I ask you to PLEASE follow!  Visiting, Commenting and Having an Opinion are all big factors as well.  Back to other reasons why prizes were not able to be given - NO EMAIL, how am I going to contact you? I even went to some of the links and still no email. So, from now on, if you don't feel comfortable leaving your email address below, I want you to comment and then copy that comment and send it to me so that at least I have your email address.  I'm also working on having some sort of sheet that you can fill out.  But again, I need a simple email address. Other things that happened today....One person's number came up and in that post it said "I have your button on my blog!"  I go to check, not there! Again, if you just put what you do have, then you will be allowed to win! This person followed and had an email address!  I'm going to assume that they meant to put it on the blog AFTER they wrote it and then forgot.

I'm sorry if you think this is drastic, but with the large up-coming giveaways, I want the people that are really doing what they say they are doing to have a fair chance at winning!  Lastly, check the email address you leave me! About the book:

People pity me, but mostly they feel envy. I have all the luxury and freedom a girl my age could want.

Something is happening to Charlotte Emerson. Like the fires that are ravaging the hills of Los Angeles, it consumes her from the inside out. But whether it is her eternal loneliness, the memory of her brother, the return of her first love, or the brooding, magnetic Jared--she cannot say. What if it's something more . . .

Something to do with the sudden tear in her perfect nails. The heat she feels when she's with Jared. The blood rushing once again to her cheeks and throughout her veins.

For Charlotte is a vampire, witness to almost a century's worth of death and destruction. But not since she was a human girl has mortality touched her.

In what way will you be transformed?

Until now.

Giveaway of Viola in Reel Life

Hi everyone,

I am The Dutchess, The Princess's blogging BFFs. Since she has been so ill and unable to post often I have decided to help out around here and make sure all of you loyal followers get the attention you deserve. Don't get me wrong, The Princess really wishes she could be here more often for you but it is just too much sometimes. My first post, besides introducing myself is to review and giveaway the book Viola In Reel Life.

Reading level: Young Adult
Hardcover: 288 pages
Publisher: Harper Teen (September 1, 2009)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0061451029
ISBN-13: 978-0061451027

Synopsis:
I'm marooned.
Abandoned.
Left to rot in boarding school . . .
Viola doesn't want to go to boarding school, but somehow she ends up at an all-girls school in South Bend, Indiana, far, far away from her home in Brooklyn, New York. Now Viola is stuck for a whole year in the sherbet-colored sweater capital of the world.
Ick.
There's no way Viola's going to survive the year—especially since she has to replace her best friend Andrew with three new roommates who, disturbingly, actually seem to like it there. She resorts to viewing the world (and hiding) behind the lens of her video camera.
Boarding school, though, and her roommates and even the Midwest are nothing like she thought they would be, and soon Viola realizes she may be in for the most incredible year of her life.
But first she has to put the camera down and let the world in.
What did I think?

I absolutely LOVED this book, Viola was such a real character, she had faults and opinions and she was smart. I am of the opinion that many YA books today make the characters too silly and unrealistic. Not this book, Viola and her three roommates were smart and thoughtful and their problems were well planned. There was a slight paranormal touch to the book too, which was a pleasant surprise. In no way is it a paranormal book, though. It is a book about friendship, fist kisses, family drama and learning to trust people. Which is something that not only young adults can work on. Thanks to the fine folks at Harper Teen, The Princess and I have been lucky enough to have a copy of this book to giveaway.

Don't forget to enter the E-reader giveaway below.

To enter you MUST be a follower of Park Avenue Princess, to do that just need to click Follow in the google Friends connect widget on the sidebar.

I know what you're thinking, and I'm going to get right to it and tell you HOW you get in the running to win this Giveaway! Please pay attention to the Rules and Follow them! This is different from any and all other contests I have going right now...if you are drawn as the winner and have not followed ALL the Rules then another name will be drawn.  Let me explain...

You can do just ONE or ALL of these things, and each thing you do will give you additional entries for a chance to WIN. This contest will be going on until December 24th at Midnight EST and WOW! What a Holiday Gift this is! Winners will be announced right here on Park-Avenue Princess January 1, 2010! Happy New Year!  You have until then to do the different things that YOU choose to do. Matthew Carter will be giving away YOUR Choice of either a Kindle 2, Sony Reader or the New Barnes & Noble Nook  to ONE VERY lucky winner, and signed copies of LIQUID SOUL as stated above and Two Amazon Gift Cards. Contest open to readers worldwide and will run until 11:59 pm EST 12/24!  Please make sure that your name is in some way different from all other names that may be added during the contest period (use a nickname or your last initital if you have a common name) and be sure to leave your email address. NO EMAIL, NO WIN because I have no way of contacting you! Winners will have 72 hours to contact me claiming their prizes.  If you do not claim the prize within that period of time, I will pick another name! Winner's WILL be contcated via email so watch for them! The prizes stated are the prizes you will get NO substitutions will be allowed.

Below are all of the different things you can CHOOSE from to enter.

1. The easiest way to enter is by purchasing a copy and/or copies of Matthew’s book LIQUID SOUL.

To purchase a print copy of Liquid Soul from Amazon click here.

To purchase a print copy of Liquid Soul from Barnes & Noble click here.

If you'd like to purchase a signed copy, (Hard or Trade) please contact Matthew at LiquidSoulBook@gmail.com .  The cost of a signed Hardcover is $30.00 and a signed Trade is $20.00.

It is NOT mandatory to purchase anything to enter the contest, there are MANY other ways to enter and WIN. Also, just because you purchase a book, that does not in any way guarantee you a winning spot.  I know that most of you will realize this on your own, but I just want to be clear that this is the way Mr. Carter is choosing to hand out the most extra points!  Also please note that the author will be selecting the winner of this contest, not myself and that I am in no way responsible for mailing out any of the above-said prizes.

If you do decide to purchase copies of the book, please email me a copy of your purchase receipt to PrincessPrizes@yahoo.com.  How many points extra will you get? Excellent question!

400 points per *signed* hard copy
350 points per *signed* soft copy
300 points per hard copy
150 points per trade copy
75 points per ebook copy

This must be verified with your receipt of purchase.  Copies purchased before this time are not eligible.  Remember the holidays are right around the corner and books make a perfect gift for anyone! I LOVED this book!  If you're into Thrillers, I highly recommend LIQUID SOUL!

Then, there are the usual ways to earn extra points and by 'usual', I mean just like in the other contests I host, I leave a charming little list of things you can do and you post which ones you choose!  Another thing you should know is that the winner will not be chosen by who has the highest number of points.  Simply put, the amount of points is the amount of entries you have so the Grand Prize can go to ANYONE!

Saturday Spotlight and a Giveaway!

Shhhh.... I know! I know! It's "technically" Sunday.  But, I figured that since we turned back the clocks, maybe, just maybe, I could get away with it!  Sneaky... huh?

Well here we are again! Finally! A new Sunday...um, SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT!  And look who we have instore for you this week!

And what shall we call you?  Ya' know...what's your name? I like to surround myself with a glamour of mystery... ;)

*Nods head*  That's why you're here...right?  You're surrounding yourself with glamour! *giggles* Get it! Get it? Me.... Me... *ha ha ha*  Glam...o..ur...  Ok... Next!

Alias? Zombie Girrrl! I'd been known as "21," but adopted the new moniker from Taschima of Bloody Bookaholic after I left a rather lengthy and passionate rant on the many uses of zombies in literature. She kinda gave me my online identity.

Very chic! Spooky! I likey!

Your blog name? Crackin' Spines & Takin' Names. I changed it for Zombie Appreciation Week, though, to Crackin' Spines & Takin' Brains. Me so clever. =9

Oh... that YOU are!  *wink*
Crackin' Spines? *giggles*   Get it?  Crack...   *ahem*

And where can we find this FABU Blog? http://crackinspines.blogspot.com/

Well? Go take a peek...  Yeah! I'll Wait!

Alright. They're back! How about a "Quickie Bio"?  I’ve always felt that biographies were for successful people, but I’ll give it a shot anyway!

I’m a military brat, so I’ve moved around a lot, and have the bragging right of having lived on all three coasts. I didn’t get into reading until my early teens, mostly because I didn’t like sitting still (still don’t), but now I love “traveling” with books. That sounds lame, but that’s how it is! Books feed my imagination and fuel my daydreams. Also, they’re the only friends that never get left behind (bar some disastrous packing accident). They’ve always been the first things out of the box, and I never travel without four or five of them.

Why did you start your blog? I started my blog after seeing how many new books my friends were finding through fellow bloggers, I wanted in! I came for the books, but I stay for the people! I’ve met a ton of nice people, and there’s always something going on!

Amen to that!

What is your favorite genre and/or genres? It’d be quicker to tell you what I don’t like!

*Well by all means then...it is YOUR show, right?* SPILL IT!

I like fiction and non-fiction (LOVE reading about the 1918 flu pandemic!), but I basically only read YA fiction because it’s easier to avoid smut (I hate smut!). I love supernatural, paranormal, and fantasy; although I do like the occasional contemporary fiction too, like An Abundance of Katherines.

Who is your favorite author? Ooh, hard! I have a favorite author for every genre, subgenre, and day of the week! Tamora Pierce is my fallback, though. Her Tortall books never disappoint, and I’ve been reading her stuff faithfully since I was thirteen. Her sheroes (Literally she-heroes, her word, not mine. “Heroine” is too druggy, even with the extra e.)  kick butt!

"Butt" Kicking is ALWAYS Good...  Did you say 13?

What is your favorite book of all time? That is probably the hardest question ever conceived by man.  *Note: I am a Woman * Fiction would be World War Z by Max Brooks. Non-fiction, Flu by Gina Kolata. YA fiction… that’s too hard to answer. There’s so much good stuff! Too much! No, wait, there’s no such thing as too many good books!

Describe your review system: My review system is highly scientific. I read a book, decide how much danger I’d risk to get at that book, then I assign it a rating from 1 to 5 zombies. I really admire people who can break a book down to its constituent parts and rate every individual aspect of a book, but I haven’t been able to come up with my own detailed system, so for now, zombies it is!

And Zombies...Rock!

How is your blog unique from other blogs? Well, it’s the only place in the known universe where you can read what I think about books. Haha. One thing that sets me apart from other bloggers is my footnotes. I include my deeper or unrelated thoughts on things in footnotes at the end of most posts. It works out for me because my mind tends to wander, which leads to rambling and a lack of clarity. Plus, they’re fun to do!

How do you market your blog? I haven't really marketed my blog, per se. I've posted a link to it on my Shelfari page and linked my IMM posts on The Story Siren, but this is the first actual promotion I’ve ever done. I’ve been a bit of a chicken-butt in that department.

tsk tsk... "chicken butt" (Note: Lots of  "butt" and "zombie" talk) ..

Can you give us three tips about content? Be honest. Be kind. Be yourself! You can give a poor review without tearing the book or writer down, and the most interesting blogs are the ones where you really get a feel for what the blogger is like through their writing.

Great Advice!

Can you give three tips about blog promotion? Look out for blogs that promote their fellows and inquire into being included, don’t snag people’s email addresses for the purpose of advertising (very poor internetiquette), and be patient.

Patience is a Virtue...

Thank you for being here Zombie Girl! Oh and Guess what "Chicken Butt"?  I love you and your blog!  *giggles*  (I crack myself up)!

OK! Now that you've got to know Zombie Girl, she's been kind enough to offer a really Awesome Giveaway!  Are you ready?!?

I knew you were!
