I Want You Back!

I can't keep it a secret any longer, really...I feel like I'm going to burst! So, I have to tell someone and why not YOU!  I mean after all, you're all my close friends, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather tell more than you!  So do you want to know?  Ok then!  Well, for those of you that LOVED "Never Slow Dance With A Zombie" or if you haven't read it yet but are dying to, have I got a treat for you!  Author E. Van Lowe, will be writing a novella entitled "I Want You Back" and posting it on his website!  Mr. Van Lowe describes "I Want You Back" as a "funny, thrilling paranormal ya novella" and after reading a bit of it myself, I couldn't agree more.

To get the novella, all you have to do is subscribe to E. VanLowe's website! After that, you'll be notified everytime a new chapter is posted.  One to two chapters per week with it being at least 10 chapers long!   This project is being done by Mr. Van Lowe as a 'Thank You' to his fans and friends that have supported "Never Slow Dance With A Zombie"!  All artwork is being done by the very talented Tatiana El-Khouri, who has designed all the artwork for his shirts and web pages!  (and all of those are beyond adorable so I really can't wait to see what she comes up with for "I Want You Back")  The title work for this project above is an excellent example.  Tatiana's Web Page can be found HERE.  Stop by, check out her work and show her page a little love as well.  She's really nice and did I mention talented?  I absolutely LOVED "Never Slow Dance With A Zombie".  It was one of my favorites this year!  This is only one of the reasons I'm extremely excited about this new novella!  Mr. Van Lowe is an amazing writer and a wonderful storyteller so this project is sure to be another great read!  I'm already waiting for more!

When we meet our 16 year old protagonist, Emy, she tells us:

I Want You Back is the story of 16 year-old, Emy Grant, who uses magic to ensnare the boy of her dreams.

Basically...

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for my lack of blogging lately... or should I say my absence?  I've been going through a tough time with my health again and I'm going to try to make up for me not being here this week.  I've got SO many things coming up!  Really...  You'll be amazed.  But, I really wanted to take a minute just to say "Thank You" to all of you that have emailed, sent a mail through the contact button, called and tweeted just to say "Hello", wondering how I am doing, and wishing me well.  I can't tell you just how touched I am.  The book blogging community is filled with SO many truly wonderful, caring and sweet people ... really, I am over-whelmed with the out pouring of support and kindess.  If there were only more people in the world like all of you.  I have really amazing readers!  So, I'll stop being sappy and teary-eyed now, say a HUGE "Thank You" and  go on with what's coming up! OK?

Up next is the LONG Awaited Contest for the Kindle or Sony e-reader! For those of you that don't know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  So, I have some Pink items and another special giveaway for this wonderful cause.  The American Cancer Society is VERY Near and Dear to Me! While I did not have breast cancer, I feel that a person dealing with any type of this disease can relate to just how important it is to stay positive, keep fighting and to never give up! I am very excited to announce that I have the great pleasure to work with the very talented E. Van Lowe, author of "Never Slow Dance With A Zombie"! A couple of weeks ago, Mr. Van Lowe contact me to see if I was interested in helping him with a Twitter contest to help promote the launch of his new book "Never Slow Dance With A Zombie". How could I refuse? I absolutely LOVE this book! (Ok.. I was jumping up and down but that's just between US)... Anyway, This is really a Fantastic and Fun Idea. I know that so many of my reader's tweet daily and this is an easy way to win something we all love - BOOKS! The Never Slow Dance With A Zombie Twitter Contest Sponsored by E. Van Lowe

Contest

The contest runs from October 2nd to October 7th. It’s easy to enter; just tweet or retweet a sentence using the book title, Never Slow Dance With A Zombie. That’s it! Your tweet can be as simple as: I will Never Slow Dance With A Zombie. Ever! Or creative like: Bela may slow dance with Edward, but I will Never Slow Dance With A Zombie.

What could be easier? Each time you tweet or retweet the title in one day you increase your chances of winning for that day. There will be a new prize winner everyday for the six days of the contest. Our only restriction is that no one player can win two days in a row.

A random drawing will be held after midnight each day. Winners will be notified by direct message via Twitter. A new contest begins at 12:01 (EST) the following day. And like I said, the more tweets you send in one day, the more chances you have to win. Please note that in order for me to direct message you, your twitter account must be public. What can you win for tweeting this wonderful title? I'm glad you asked!

Prizes

Each day our winner gets their choice of one of six YA zombie book titles. Included in the mix is an autographed copy of E. Van Lowe’s Never Slow Dance With A Zombie. And if you win on day three, and want the same book chosen on day two. No problem. Winners can choose from any of the six books on the list. No restrictions.

There will be a new winner chosen every day from the 2nd to the 7th. Entries are good for one day, and one day only. The key to winning is to enter often.

Grand Prize

On October 8th we will award one grand prize chosen from all the tweets sent over the six days. The grand prize will be an Amazon certificate for $54.50, which just happens to be the cover price of the six books added together! All prizes will be mailed within two weeks of the contest. Prizes not claimed within two weeks will be forfeited.
